I went from SVS PB-12 Plus/2 to PSA (Power Sound Audio). Whether you go with PSA or not it's worth a phone call to them for a free consultation. I LIKE it (eh, them as I got two)

Note that I have had only three subs; a Miller& Krisel 125, the SVS and now the PSA. From M&K to SVS well no contest there and now to dual PSA...worth the move.

Sorry...heres my setup I was also thinking since I have a 7.2 receiver of running 2 subs... any thoughts??

Sounds like a good enough reason to me!

More seriously, two subs will help to even out the bass response in your room. I recently turned my sub around so the woofer is firing into a corner and found that it helped, but it's still not perfect.

Svs or psa. UNLESS you are capable of building a sub? There is a guy in Canada who will cut the box to size and all you gotta do is put them together. Can get ALOT MORE bang for your buck then. Could do a single ported 18 with a high end driver and meet your budget and have an equivalence of a pair of Svs ultras priced at 4,000$

Diy sound group for sealed. Or parts express. Then there is a guy that sells flat packs on Avs for the ported Marty subs. Orrrr you could go to Home Depot and take the cut list and they will cut everything like Tim pornstar just had done. He payed I think 150 for two boxes! The guy on Avs charges 280 I think shipped.
