ANC makes making stuff sound right very difficult. That's what I assumed. I owned the Modes before and liked them but hated the fit, and I have a small head. Vlad Posted October 20, 2014 Share Posted October 20, 2014 Two things happened between the fit on Mode M40 and Status - less clamp force and softer ear cushion with more compression. You will get a better seal and more consistent bass. IF they're still tight then put them around a pillow overnight. If that still doesn't work, return them within 30 days (buy from our site).
