Frzninvt
Hello all, Came across these in my daily search. I think they are a bit spendy. The Crites woofers and tweeters don't add $600 - $800 to the value IMHO. Maybe they did benchmarking on active ePay auctions to arrive at that pricing. http://burlington.craigslist.org/ele/4649043608.html I am in no way affiliated with the seller. They would be a good deal at $800 to $1000 tops. The brown grills are not very common. Edited September 15, 2014 by Frzninvt
The Dude
With the walnut and grills, I would put them at 1000 tops. Maybe I am asking to little for mine.
jimjimbo
They do look nice and clean, but agree quite high. Probably trying to recover a good percentage of the upgrade cost.
ClaudeJ1
For that kind of cash you can have unported Super Heresy's and 2 Spud Subwoofers that would trounce it! $800-900 tops. Edited September 3, 2014 by ClaudeJ1
K5SS
They also only showed the top of the speaker without the stain. Seems like a sleazy way to sell. If they were mine, I would be very upfront with the potential buyers from the beginning. They do look like great speakers. I am getting closer and closer to buying my first heritage set.. Gorm
Those aren't even the good Crites woofers...
cheric
That's the downside of upgrading and not keeping the original parts. You will never get your money back for what you put in.
jimjimbo
Yea, kind of like upgrading your guest bathroom....

I agree, Keep the old parts and put them back in to sell. Then sell the new parts alone.
Rocko81
My Cornwall III were less than that. Yikes!
Heritage_Head
Telling a buyer it has brand new off brand woofers and xo hurts the sale imo. Edited September 3, 2014 by reference_head
cheric
Telling a buyer it has brand new off brand woofers and xo hurts the sale imo. It would be with me! Without the original parts, it must be a "steal" (of a price) for me to consider.
Frzninvt
*UPDATE* He re-priced them into the realistic range @ $1099.
