Moderators Amy Posted October 23, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 23, 2014 Hello Klipsch family! Just a quick note to let you know that my latest project, the smart-toy Edwin the Duck, has been launched on the crowd sourcing site Kickstarter. We’re trying to raise funds to complete production of Edwin, and launch him in the marketplace. I would really appreciate if you help spread the word – forwarding to your contacts and posting on social media would mean a lot! We think Edwin is something special. If you’d like to become a backer, all you have to do is select a donation amount from the Kickstarter page, create an account (name and email), then either link it to your Amazon account, or create an Amazon account if you don’t have one. You can read all about it here: http://www.EdwinTheDuck.com/kickstarter Thanks everyone! Amy

moray james
All the very best in this new project. I guess that the reason that you named the duck Edwin was so this project would never lay an egg. I will be spreading the word. best regards Moray James.
mustang guy
Hi Amy. Best of luck on the kickstarter campaign! I could have used that thing when the kids were little. Now my baby is a senior in high school.
Moderators Amy Posted October 30, 2014 Author Moderators Share Posted October 30, 2014 (edited) Thanks to all who have helped so far! Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go. If you know anyone with small children, I would appreciate if you spread the word! Even if you can't help, drop me a note and let me know how you're doing. I'm starting to think you all have forgotten me! Exile is a lonely place Edited October 30, 2014 by Amy

jimjimbo
Not secure? Meaning you are getting a warning from your anti virus program or? I'm not having any issues, and I have everything under the sun installed.... http://www.edwintheduck.com/#about

joessportster
Not secure? Meaning you are getting a warning from your anti virus program or? I'm not having any issues, and I have everything under the sun installed.... http://www.edwintheduck.com/#about only thing loaded here is microsoft security essentials, so I would have to assume a warning from my anti virus, which means STOP RIGHT HERE I make it a rule / habit, anything odd stay away...................virus, add ware & malware are not something I enjoy hunting down and getting rid of, I went directly to kickstarter without an issue though
mustang guy
The security certificate isn't configured properly for this site. Either that, or the site has been hijacked, and is residing on a server in Russia. When you go to the 'kickstarter' version of this webpage, there is a redirect in the source code: <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- function Redirect() { window.location="https://www.edwintheduck.com"; } document.write("You will be redirected to main page in 3 sec."); setTimeout('Redirect()', 3000); //--> </script> As you can see, it is redirecting to an 'https' site. Take out the 's' and the error goes away. This doesn't mean the website hasn't been hijacked. It could still be in Russia. Why am I picking on Russians?
