Lee B
No blutooth but works if source plugged in and only plays on loud for about a minute before it reduces the volume. It has two diagnostic/programming ports inside the battery compartment. Any tech savy advice for unlocking this baby?

CECAA850
Is there a method to hard reset? Remove all batteries and power for a minute or so and power it back up.
billybob
That is what I suggested...on another thread?
yolmen
I called customer service and they said that this is a Demo Store Unit and that's the way its intended to work. Im guessing it just needs to be flashed the normal unit but I that might be hard to find. One way Im thinking to try is to open it up and try to by bypass the IC that controls the volume that way. That would probably make it work at 100% at all time but that OK.
Thaddeus Smith
Or take it back to where you bought it and get a proper unit?

Not sure if I can identify it buy if I can do you know how to bypass it?
afox080
Has anyone found a way to at least bypass the demo mode? Any ideas? I have a spare demo unit I will use in case I blow a speaker but would love to experiment on it
Andy W
Demo KMC3 units have Demo firmware installed and are a totally separate SKU. The Demo mode can't be bypassed. Sorry. Edited February 13, 2015 by Andy W
