derrickdj1
We all had so much fun at the last gtg in Oct., I was hoping to keep the ball rolling. To help plan the next gtg let's start to set a tentative date and start the ball rolling. 1.) Would early Dec. work? 2.) How often for the gtg? Nov. and Dec are busy months for a lot of people with all the Holidays and accompaning festivities. If this is not a good time then we will be into 2015. Fellowship should also be a major part of the gtg. I am open to hosting the next gtg and depending on when it is, family and significant others are welcome to attend. jimjimbo
Derrick, thanks for your offer. I am absolutely slammed for the next two months with work (healthcare insurance industry....), and family commitments, but don't let me stop you all. Mid Jan would be best for me, of course, dependent on the weather here in the Midwest.....
derrickdj1
I know that there are a lot of Holidays and other commitments over the next two months. That is why I wanted to just start throwing around the idea to get some input. Let's hope this winter is slightly better than last years for our region. Thanks for the reply Jim. I though quaterly gtg would be about right.

derrickdj1
Spring will most likely be a better time with our winters. I know about Hope but, I have not decided yet. That will be time for another vacation. Edited November 13, 2014 by derrickdj1

derrickdj1
Great beeker! I am fishing for dates, how often, ect. I know the next 2 months is pretty packed for most people due to holidays, holiday parties, shopping and whatever else, lol. I can pretty much always free up a day.
Lemon string
I think mid Jan would be good. The only downside is if anyone wants to sell anything the crowd might be lite on cash after the holidays. I'd be up for a Dec bash too so whatever everyone wants to do is cool by me.
derrickdj1
Seth, after Xmas is a great time to buy gear. People get new stuff and out with the old. I will give this thread a few days and see if we can get a better consensus on a date. Stay tuned! jacksonbart
You can use the copy paste feature and then you could actually have the complete 'get together' phrase in your posts, as based on urban dictionary, GTG means 'got to go'.
