voidpointer Posted January 7, 2015 Author Share Posted January 7, 2015 Strange, pulling out the big plug from the back of the subwoofer (I guess for the control knobs) and plugging it back in with the power on fixed it. I've had nothing but strange behavior from these speakers and I've only owned them for 5 hours. I hope this isn't an ongoing deal, might have to return them. mattSER Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 If you just bought it, I would advise you to return it. I've owned 2 ProMedia systems and both failed. Future reference, don't do this. To any speaker. Always make sure things are turned off before unplugging and plugging things in. Not doing so can cause even more damage than originally observed. Marmes Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) An excellent design with poor materials. I am glad i changed all electrolitic capacitors and transistors with good ones, threw away those bad quality components that populated the boards. Did this 5 years ago, and they still work.
