Andrea87
I contacted Bosch/Electro Voice hoping they still had archived purchase records. Sadly, no. :-(
Andrea87
I phone EV Tech support (now Telex Communications, a division of Bosch). They are also trying to help locate someone in Metro Phoenix that can assist.
jimjimbo
Andrea, sent you a PM. Hope this helps.
Andrea87
No. Not yet. I'm reaching out to ask if a local person would be willing to help. Edited February 5, 2015 by Andrea87
sheltie dave
Cactus Bob on www.audiokarma.org lives in Mesa, and has experience with large vintage Electrovoice speakers. He may be able to help you if you are nice, and do not try to blow sunshine around. No one at EV will help at all, they have no interest in 60 year old speakers. OO1
a Patrician IV means that the speaker has an 18 inch woofer - the 18wk - has the OP decided on a more reasonable asking price - it was 5k to 30k -this is a garage sale and one of us will buy it if the price is right -

CECAA850
This gentlemen got a Patrician IV for $65 at a rummage sale. http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7632 That was in '03. I'm sure with inflation it would be at least $100.00 today
Andrea87
If any of you owned this speaker and you just had to sell it, what would you be willing to sell it for at a minimum? And, where would you go to sell it? Mach-1, would you sell yours for $65? :-)
jimjimbo
Andrea, I would recommend that you reach out to your most recent contact that I connected you with, and ask that person. I think that they would give you a fair evaluation. Just a thought.

Andrea87
Btw, everyone, I still haven't given up hope that the components might be a little different. Nace was very involved with Paramount Pictures. And I have a sneaking suspicion that EV also had a contract for the Nace theatres. When I peer in, it looks different than a open Pisces cabinet I have seen a pic of. I'm thinking that they saw the blueprints for where this was going and might have modified the speaker. Again, I'll let everyone know. Take a look at this pic. The wall was designed specifically to hold this speaker and the other components. You can see the cork lined walls above it, and the Terraza floor below.
