Sounds like your AVR is the culprit as these are passive speakers to begin with... Unless the whole system as in Pre-Pro are matched with each other, the pre-amp outs and amplifier ins might cause an issue. Not to mention it's a pricy affair. pite Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 lol... Wish I had a space for that underneath my TV. I contemplated few times to lay down one of my RF-7 II and see how it sounds... That said, there is a distinct difference between RC-64 II and RF-7 II. RC-64 II is a sealed speaker with a tapered array crossing over at 1100Hz and 1400Hz while RF-7 II is a ported speaker crossing over at 1200Hz. Per Klipsch specifications, the RC-64 II goes quite low upto 59Hz - it's a beast bringing my HT alive , but imagine going as low as 30Hz with RF-7 II Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
