moray james
you can go to Canada post dot com and get a quote on line what postage will cost. You have not said what you want to ship. Shipping here is more expensive out airport costs and taxes are higher than in the USA I expect due to much smaller volume. For large goods like loudspeakers UPS and FedEx ground are good DHL and others are also competitive. As with any shipping faster costs more but is almost always safer because the item gets handled less. So a lot depends upon what you are shipping and you have not said. Best regards Moray James. Budman
thanks Moray lets just say k-horns that i want shipped. is there a border crossing fee
moray james
no boarder crossing fee. Get a quote from Fedex Ground you want each one on a skid and you want heavy cardboard wrap with foam underneath an inch should do. DLH and TNT may be your very best price. Contact Mr. Aseem Kanwar (at TNT) at 403-250-1545 ext. 232 leave a message. He can help you out. TNT use UPS but they get a very deep discount. FedEx do the same. You will be looking at around 11% duty in CND dollars leaving Canada. You can make your insured value up to 15% higher than your declared value just so you know. I hope this helps. Tell them the speakers are made of MF not wood as wood will necessitate paperwork regarding endangered species. So no matter what they are made od just say they are made from MDF.
