bigdog Posted August 6, 2002 Share Posted August 6, 2002 i have the rf5 speakers and i know i can hook them up to my receiver denon 3802 useing banana connectors but how do i hook up a banana conncetor to my speaker it looks different then the connector on the receiver? Does the screw-down thingy on the speaker's binding post not have a hole in the top of it into which you could put a banana plug? If so, you can "pop" the plastic plug out that covers that hole. The plastic plug is there, I understand, to prevent those crazy Europeans from putting a power plug into the speaker's binding posts, since their power plugs use round prongs and are spaced the same. Personally, I use a 12" Ontario Combat Tanto. or a Snap On #S00204 standard pocket screwdiver. Both work well. ------------------ You should of heard just what I've seen.
