japosey Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I have them DVR'd, but haven't had time to sit down and watch them yet. I will exit this topic so my viewing excitement isn't spoiled. Quote
CECAA850 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 The brother seems to have "tin foil hat syndrome." It's been driving me crazy trying to figure out where I've seen him before. Come to find out he played Squiggy's friend Lenny on Laverne and Shirley! He was also in This Is Spinal Tap. Last Monday's episode was great. Can't wait for the season finale next week. I'm really enjoying this. 1 Quote
beeker Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I missed a couple weeks but this week was good. Lots of good twists and turns kept building the plot. Its a must watch Quote

I'm really enjoying this. I can't believe Chuck turned on Jimmy like that, I think that hurt jimmy. I think this last episode, Jimmy has started to make the transition to Saul. Michael McKean is one of my favorite actors, pretty god musician also. He has done a lot with Christopher Guest. Check out some of their other movies than Spinal Tap….A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, The Folksman….funny guy. Quote
CECAA850 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I can't believe Chuck turned on Jimmy like that Really? A guy that's allergic to electricity doing something irrational? 1 Quote
Ceptorman Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 I can't believe Chuck turned on Jimmy like that Really? A guy that's allergic to electricity doing something irrational? But Jimmy is his brother and his lifeline. Who will bring him ice, eggs, and bacon now? I wonder how much longer Chuck will be on the show if Jimmy really turns away? It's hard to believe there's just one more episode this season, 10 isn't enough. Mike really is a great character, I liked his badass scene when meeting the pill salesman. Mike is so bad he doesn't need a gun! 1 Quote
Ceptorman Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 10 isn't enough. I know. By the time next year rolls around, will I remember who Saul and Chuck are? We will remind you Quote
jimjimbo Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I think Chuck has a secret plan in mind, and doesn't want Jimmy to get caught up in it for his own good.... I am loving the show, much to my pleasant surprise, as I didn't have great expectations for it. Quote

Audible Nectar Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I love the scene where Mike baits and stakes out the Kettlemans and retrieves the cash Quote
BigStewMan Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 i was watching a show and kept wondering “why does this lady look familiar--what other show is she on?” Then I’m watching Better Call Saul and realize it is the lady lawyer/girlfriend. So then i say to myself, “what was that other show that i saw her on?” Sometimes I’m simply pathetic. Quote
Ceptorman Posted April 3, 2015 Author Posted April 3, 2015 Great interview, thanks for sharing. Quote
jimjimbo Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Yep, I'm looking forward to watching it, but sad that it's ending for the season.... Quote
CECAA850 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 First off, I thought the last episode was better than the finale. That being said, last night really gave us a good look at how Jimmy turned into Saul. Quote
BigStewMan Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I agree Carl--i was a bit disappointed with the finale; but, you’re right, it did let us know what turned Jimmy. I really didn’t see that twist with Chuck coming in the second to last episode. Still enjoying the show. Quote
CECAA850 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Still enjoying the show. Now we wait for next season It's funny, if I never watched breaking Bad, I never would have watched Saul. I really would have missed out on a great show. 1 Quote
