DizRotus
Thank you to Brett @bhenry and his wife for their hospitality this afternoon. I got to see and listen to their Klipschorn based system that replaced the Reference system lost in the Great Southeast Michigan Flood of '14. Their finished basement and HT are better than ever. I'd never heard the current generation (composite squawker and post K-77/EV T35 tweeter) Khorns before. They are amazing. I took the opportunity to demonstrate my Pono player. The gorgeous black Khorns allowed the Pono player to stretch its audio legs. Now I have to get our basement whipped into shape to reciprocate. At present, my wife won't permit guests in our cluttered basement. Perhaps, if they were blindfolded?
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted February 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 18, 2015 Nice to hear that bhenry is recovering from the flood. So is that likely to occur again in that area?
DizRotus
It was a once in a hundred years rainstorm. So, yes, in 2114, be sure to get the Klipsch out of the basement.
