Original EV Brand K-77 diaphrams

Ok guys those of you that are interested in the K-77 diaphragms, I will be assembling a group buy.  I feel its best that one person go in and make a deal instead of 15 people calling him at once.  Since I am local, I am willing to handle this.  What I will do is take orders and go in and see if I can get a better deal.   As of right now, the price per each diaphragm is 30.00 plus tax. If I ship them out in a USPS box add $5.00 for shipping.  So that puts us at about $70.00 shipped.  Now I would like to find a low cost plastic container to ship these in to protect them better.  So that could add to the cost a couple dollars.  If anyone has any good ideas on a low cost shipping apparatus let me know.  Now I will say this, I don't know how many he has but he did have quite a few.  If I go in there with an order to buy out all his product he may want to raise the price, he may want to raise the price if I go in there looking for a lot any way do to the fact that he realizes these have became a hot commodity.  What do you folks, pm me if interested.  I might put a google doc together or a spread sheet where you can add your name and how many you want.  So far I have couple of orders for a couple pairs.  I will post pics of the ones I have later, that way you can see what you get.  I might try and call him later today or tomorrow to see what he can do for us.

Thanks

Need 2.  Is this from Simply Speakers in FL?

packing wise, yes it needs to protect both the dome, the voice coil, and the very fragile leads. I have a box of probably 20 here with broken leads.

For $30, they should come from the supplier in a protective housing of some sort.

Done some reading, apparently there are a lot of imitations around, but these are the last of the OEM EV parts.

Another option might be to use BEC CT125. Would this tweeter work in place of a K77 alnico without any special network adjustments?

I'm looking into price on the Klipsch K77F, that's one with wide mounting tabs that mounts to the rear of the motor board but the horn portion protruded totally through the 3/4" stock. Easy swap even in a Khorn and you don't have to tear the grille cloth off!

Will these work in the square magnet k77?

That's what I have used them.

Here is how they will be shipped, along with wrapping the actual diaphragm with tissue paper. Then wrap the plastic container with plastic wrap. Should get to were ever safely.
