Audible Nectar
You should use the subwoofer out on the Denon (RCA). I would bypass the crossover in the Klipsch sub, and use the denon for bass management/crossover adjustments. Do not use the speaker wire. I'm not a Denon owner (just trying to help out), so maybe the Denon owners have more specific recommendations.
dblue
I would definately recommend using an RCA connector. This allows you to use the bass management system on board the 3802. Even sub manufacturers recommend this setup. The speaker wire ins and crossover on the sub amp are included in case your receiver doesn't have bass management settings. The only way I would still recommend setting up the sub with speaker wire is if you're running two channel and you want to utilize a lower crossover than the Denon allows (to utilize the low end of your mains). But setting the crossover at 80 or 60Hz on the Denon frees up your mains to give you more rich midrange. Hope this helps. ------------------ "May your mind be like water and mold to many things." -Bruce Lee
