billybob Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 As good as the specs are they will sound more like a forte/heresy hybrid. Should do well as my Chorus and the T-500 I had here at one time. jjptkd Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 I had a pair that replaced my Chorus II's for almost a year and I was quite happy with them. This was several years ago and I had just moved into an apartment with the TV / stereo wall being shared with my neighbor. It only took a couple days before I had a note on my door saying something about family photos laying on the floor. I blamed the rear passives. There just happened to be a pair of Tangent's on CL for $200 and I noticed the front firing passive so thought I'd try them out. The bass wasn't as loud but it was clean, I'd have to say kind of a cross between the Forte and Heresy, being as loud as a Forte with bass response closer to the Heresy.
