When I bought my cherry(vinyl) RSW-10d from Vann's back in September 2008, they also had cherry vinyl RS-52's for $500.00/pair shipped. I talked to the Vann's rep and he said that the cherry vinyl RS-52's were originally only available in Europe but did not sell well so Vann's and I think One Call got a large shipment of them to blow out at discount prices.
