We HAD plans but my wife surprised me with alternative plans with a surprise party at our favorite restaurant. Close to 20 friends and family celebrated with great food, great beer and great conversation, i am a blessed man with these people in my life! Oh and my wife surprised me with a Sony vpl-hw55es projector! A dear friend in his mid fifties came over in the afternoon with his wife, two children and their families. He has terminal pancreatic cancer and likely has months to live. It was a wonderful time to visit and share "my" day with some very special people. This was the first birthday without dad and so there was some emotion for me throughout the day. I appreciate your words - thank you again!
