Thaddeus Smith
Well, she appears to be really singing and really playing...

CECAA850
I'd rather watch her than listen to her. Scroll down while she's singing and just listen. Certainly nothing special.

TwoCables
This post of mine is coming from soneone who has honestly NEVER heard of this girl. Seriously, I don't know who she is or ANYTHING. Until I saw the number of comments on this video, I thought that she was just a random person. A nobody. Now, having said that and perceiving her as just some random girl playing "Maybe I'm Amazed" on her guitar in her bedroom, here's what I have to say about it: This is pure talent. Period. CECAA850
talent? or exploitation? http://anapopovic.com/home http://www.sherylcrow.com/ http://dollyparton.com/ is there a certain level of fame that suddenly transforms it from "exploitation" of one's appearance to just good marketing? The number of Grammys and gold/platinum songs and albums should answer that question. There have been a number of attractive music artists over the years and only the ones with musical talent seem to have any longevity. TwoCables
talent? or exploitation? http://anapopovic.com/home http://www.sherylcrow.com/ http://dollyparton.com/ is there a certain level of fame that suddenly transforms it from "exploitation" of one's appearance to just good marketing? I'd say that it depends: is the artist/musician doing it because they genuinely want to? If not, then it's exploitation of their fame (either self-exploitation, or someone else is telling them to do it in order to exploit their fame). As someone who doesn't have a clue who this girl is, it seems to me that she genuinely wants to play this song, that she genuinely loves it and genuinely enjoys being able to play it. So, I'd say that it's pure talent (and pure passion). If I had been following her as a big fan, then I don't know how differently I might feel. Maybe I'd feel differently, or maybe I wouldn't. Either way, I believe that my perspective of seeing her as just some random person is allowing me to see the truth. Thaddeus Smith
Why does no one bat an eye when Dolly Parton parades around with her cleavage everywhere.. Or Ana Popvic seemingly nude on her album cover, except for the guitar in front of her.. and on and on and on.. But a chick that has nothing more than youtube notoriety is subjected to constant "**** shaming"? so once again.. is there a certain level of fame that suddenly transforms it from "exploitation" of one's appearance to just good marketing? Do you honestly think that she made that video to show off her body? I mean, yes, ok, she's hot. Big deal. So what? I enjoyed it because she performed a song that I like VERY well, and she did it with PASSION. I don't care that she's hot. That has nothing to do with why she made that video. If she becomes famous because of how hot she is, THEN IT'S NOT HER FAULT. Do you think she'd want to make herself look ugly just so people can focus on her musical talent? Max2
A shame. Its not about the music or her voice, its all about her bulge. almost every song she has posted has her in that trailer trash top only in a different color. The girl either either needs to grab a pole or put on some clothes so people will stop guessing her direction. Im sure she will still get plenty of notoriety with her "blessing" covered in a shirt. TwoCables
I'd love to have a private conversation with her about this. I bet that I'd find out that she isn't in this to show off her body. Let's face it though: how many famous musicians do you know of who are ugly? If you want to make it to a rockstar-like level of fame, then you have to be attractive too. You can't do that if you're ugly. Well, maybe you can in genres like death metal or something, but not Pop!
