I'm glad you were able to get the rebuilds resolved and that you are happy with them.

Can't you follow the layout on the board? I would think that after all you went through, you might be able to figure it out. BTW, I've not seen a schematic for the center.

I'm just better doing this with it laid out simply. Mike Sterh made me an awesome one that was super easy to follow. It's just different from the towers as it has an extra solid core inductor and an extra capacitor.

P.S. I listened to some movie trailers and music on the modded RF-3 ii's....... My god. It's the most amazing sound I've ever heard. There truly was a HUGE HUGE difference. Absolutely worth it. My wife who usually doesn't notice that kinda thing was totally blown away!

So mike is gonna be drawing me another schematic, so SO excited to hear the upgraded center channel when I'm done. it's the only one I have left to upgrade after I finish those surrounds later! :)

To anyone else out there wanting to upgrade your RF-3 ii crossovers (highly HIGHLY recommend doing this if you have the know how), here is the layout he drew up for me:

I’ve been following your progress…. But I haven’t been able to find the parts list….

for the RF3 ii crossover upgrade…

did you use 5%  or   1% precision caps?

So I have:  (per crossover)

Dayton  4.7uF

Dayton   12uF

Mills 2ohm  12w non inductive Resistor
