Room  12x20x8   I sit 12ft away from screen , I'm thinking LCR KLIPSCH KL 7800 THX behind screen . Or would I be better off with a Reference vs THX

I moved my 2ch system to a different part of the room its not on the same wall anymore and I still have a  SVS PB-12 Plus  which does a awesome job for

HT  in that room

Is your screen AT? If not maybe just do. Kl-650 times three below the screen on a slightly angled up center channel stand. Id do that before in wall. UNLESS your trying to save as much space as possible the. Yeah I'd still get the thx line for a movie based system. Speculation of course as I've never heard the thx in walls. Maybe they wouldn't be worth the price difference over reference? Hard to tell. Just get palladiums

Yeah looking for space , I would need to buy a new screen mines not AT  By the way your palladiums look killer

I was looking at a larger home but the deal fell through , so it looks like we will be here 3 more yrs so I need to make the best of it

Thanks buddy. Yeah in walls would save you space. I'd say if you can easily afford the thx then go for em. Mid not and since you are a music guy first and are ok with your satellite setup now, just get the reference stuff and be done with it. Biggest LCR combo you can for it and center behind the screen will most likely be a big improvement over what you have right now.

Someone just had 3 mint  XL-23  on Audiogon for about $400.00 shipped but I didn't think switching my L/R XL-12's  was not worth the cost since my sub takes care of the bass pretty good and my XL-23 works fine for a center in this current setup

The 400 for 3 xl-23's was a great price though
