rayok275
Has anyone used this receiver to power two RF-7iis? I'm thinking of building a two channel setup without a sub and came across this reciever for a decent price. I want to use my RF-7iis is two channel. derrickdj1
By all means sir, the RF 7II make a great 2 ch. system. 100 watt/ch and 4 ohm stable, shoud do the trick.
willland
I have not heard the Yamaha R-S700 receiver but I sure do love the way my Yamaha A-S1000 integrated makes my RB-75's sound. Would you be adding the Yamaha to your RF-7II HT rig? I don't think you will be able to squeeze out better performance with the Yamaha over your NAD T175HD/Outlaw 7700 combo. rayok275
I'm thinking of moving the RF 7iis to a dedicated two channel setup and using the RB-75s up front for movies
willland
Sounds like a great plan. As long as you are not trying to fill a 4000ft3 room, I think the Yamaha will do a fine job with the RF-7II's. Pretty good heft for a stereo receiver at 24.7 lbs. The cool thing is if you "need" more horsepower later on, you can add an outboard amp to the mix.
