The Heresy III's look sexy in those pics.  Which is cherry and which is walnut? I figure the reddish is cherry and the yellowish is walnut.

Chad, maybe there is a way to caption the pictures for each finish. I'm sure you have already thought of that, but I for one think it would keep folks from possibly ordering the wrong thing.

The product details pages display the correct picture when you select an option from the dropdown menu. Thanks!

Saw one of those split la scala's during the factory tour. absolutely stunning and i like the aesthetic.

Imagine that!  I totally agree!

I honestly do not know where we could possibly put them but.....I love those La Scalas and would love to own a pair!

Patience... I predict used pairs will be available at a more reasonable price circa 2030. ;)

I found the original bill of sale for my type 1s a couple weeks ago..... $602

Bunch of enablers I tell ya....

For years, I've been perfectly fine with my RF-7's. Then I read a few threads on the Hope Gathering...

get a few PM's about La Scala's, Belle's & Klipschorns from twistedcrankcammer & Sancho Panza...

click on a few links.... start researching & troubleshooting/maintenance of speakers I don't even own;

Crites, additional wood braces, gluing seams... checking out minermark's upgrades...

Youthmans pics & reviews, been jumping on CL & the bay.

I even find myself staring at the available corners in my room... Smiley_BU_Rubbing_Chin.gif

and before ya know it, some hi-res Heritage can start to rewire your brain.

Nothing wrong with RF-7's.  I have RF-7's, Lascalas and Cornscalas.  The 7's take a back seat to neither.  Heritage guys take exception to this but I've never heard it from anyone that listens to mine.  7's need a lot more power to shine IMO than the others.

That's certainly good to hear. I'm not a 2ch guy, always been configured for HT set up. So, I never really took the time to look in depth with the Heritage items (never thought to associate them with my HT), plus always figured the La Scala's & Khorns were better suited for larger spaces.  Recently I've been curious enough to look into Heritage items & see how they might fit into my needs/options with any future applications. Don't get me wrong, love the hell outta my RF-7's, they work great in every space I've had them. For all I know they still might provide the best results with my existing/space set up. But  lately, my brain has been working overtime in regards to exploring potential Heritage options. Even found someone only a 1/2 hour away with a pair of La Scala's for sale. Haven't called him yet. (lol)

Call him up and see if you can pack your RF-7s along for your OWN comparison....

Our photo guy - Philly D - updated the on-white product photography in all finishes, grilles on/off and multiple angles for the Klipschorn, La Scala, Cornwall and Heresy. It's a lot harder than one would think and truly a monumental task. The photos look freakin' great.

Check them out:

the k-horn is that big in proportion to a Scala - and the much smaller Cornwall next to the minute Heresy -

I would have liked to see a  Jubilee added to the picture -

great shots Alex, read some of the descriptions as well and noticed K-Horn now has a 2" mid driver when did they make the move to 2" ??

I don't think is a 2" driver like you think, I think it has to do with the voice coil not the exit.

Why do YOU hold that opinion?

My opinion is that I like the spacing between the top hat of the b, vs no spacing on the c.  The c seems to blend in more, and plain looking.  Now on that note, the new style looks to be a mixture of the c and b giving the space of the b but still not all the extra wood added.  Kind of a clean look, I actually like it.

I like the spacing AND the extra wood.

Before you know it, I could be contemplating 2ch, class a amps, tubes, analog, Heresy or Belle for center...etc.

But, no rush. I still use a flat screen, so matching up a proper center channel without a screen might be tough.

Where there is a will there is a way.  And there is lots of assistance provided for that here.
