Heresies have new crites titanium diaphragms for tweeter and new diaphragms for mid range as well as Crites rebuilt crossovers. (All done in last 6-9 months) I did a full brace job, stuffed the box with high density fiber glass as well as placed a f11 grade felt doughnut on the woofers spider to further help dampen the woofer. All this with much help and guidance from Moray James, which was greatly appreciated. See link below with my mods to cf4 to see more on how this felt doughnut is done and used. Heresies sound great, probably the best heresy II you have ever heard.... I have a pair of CF-4s and I've been following your cf-4 build and trying to build up the energy to do the same. I've also been thinking more and more about getting a pair of heresys to play with. Maybe this is not the post for it but some time I'd love to hear your thoughts on the similarities/differences between the CF-4s and the heresys, especially after mods.
