Wardsweb
It seems in the last couple years attendance has dropped off. That being said, I know guys from serveral fourms, the Dallas audio club and River City Audio Society that will be there, along with myself. Chris A
I plan to be there on Saturday. I believe that Wrinkles (Mike) is planning to attend.
seti
I've been to a few of these events and it is pretty good. I'd go this year but work project does not allow. For a state that loves things big it is amazing how many small single driver systems are there.
Wrinkles
I would not miss it.
Klipsch Employees Chief bonehead Posted April 28, 2015 Klipsch Employees Share Posted April 28, 2015 I was hoping it was other dates. Thru Travis I have become intrigued with this and was hoping I could show up.
J M O N
I've been to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, which was huge (could not see everything in one day and they had to expand it to a second hotel), and also the Midwest Audio fest. They are fun events for sure. Lots of manufacturers attend but I have yet to see Klipsch. This would be a great opportunity for Kiipsch to remind the masses just how good the big stuff sounds that you can't seem to hear in any store. I remember listening to one older gentleman complementing a horn speaker manufacturer (can't remember which one) that their $30k speakers were "a bargain." coli
JWM's room was very impressive, the sound filled the room, very very analog sounding. The crossover was outside the speaker! So you can go active crossover too. I'm not sure if the sound tends towards less details though. That amp they are using is 16k... Now I really want to hear the JBL M2... BTW: The Klipsch RP-280F held up very well to the competition at less than 1/10th the price... Edited May 2, 2015 by coli
