Private forum question ?

I have seen posts mentioning this private place. I was wondering what you have to do to be in it ? Since I have been here since 2001 must not be how long you been here. I have met and helped Amy at Indy meet so that's not it. I have met Paul 3 times so that's not it. I have bought new scalas in 1980 and RB 35s new so that's not it. I never owned bose so that's not it. Is there a special test such as be able to pick up a LaScala?

At the Indy meet I signed up for consumer test panel never got anything to test maybe that's it. Oh well just wondering.    Rick

Secret PM replied to via Secret instant snail mail.

To paraphrase those indelible words uttered by Sargent Shultz and parodied by Arte Johnson, "Very Interesting."

You have to be irritating and obnoxious. It was a way to keep religious and political discussions off of the main boards. Most who belong have left. Only three or four actively discuss anything, and I don't even bother going to it anymore.

Doesn't sound like we are missing anything.

Yea I do not think it is for me even though I have strong beliefs its not worth the headache. Thanks anyway. Rick

Fwiw, it seems everyone has strong beliefs, but some choose not to participate in debate when trying to share and glean information...Then again, folks who hold things dear and feel threatened when others express a different view would definitely get a headache or feel their blood pressure rise when discussing these issues.

of course they will tell you that they don't go there that nobody does but they are having a meeting there now to discuss what else to tell you. It's just like the Mason's they hide right out in the open. Be afraid be very afraid. (I won't sign my name so they can't prove it was me that wrote this)

No secrets, just a way to round up the troublemakers and corral them in. Many of the audio discussions were getting pretty over the top too - some were adopted later as they found out about the place. If people can be civil, I don't see why these discussions can't take place in the lounge. Another alternative is just to open it up to everyone- or just shut it down.

Hey Moray,

If you are SO afraid of the Masons because of what you don't know, why not get off your A and ask to join? Maybe THEN you will KNOW what you are talking about???

Dean,

Not so much for those who can't be civil as for those who take controversial points to where OTHERS cannot be civil...

No way Roger they get you in collect dues and keep you on the lowest level in the dark I don't want to know any more about them than I already do. Would be cool to be a Shriner though and dress up like an Arab and were a Fez and drive one of those little airplanes in parades and such.
