joessportster
after finding my current IEMs and liking them as I do I am now curious about a portable player, and I certainly wont pay for the astell kerns ilk, but pono seems reasonable in a way so I wonder how one would load tunes on it, IOW I currently have 20,000 loss less flac files would I be able to load a selection of these on pono ?? I know It can have hd tracks and pono music loaded but was curious about loading my own tunes Thanks Guys
DizRotus
Joe, Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Loading files onto Pono is easy. It can be done several ways. My brother loaded most of his MP3 files to his Pono and he's very pleased. While you'd never be able to cram all your large FLAC files onto Pono at one time, Pono player has 64 gig internal memory and a slot that can accept 128 gig micro card. You could load multiple cards and rotate them through the player. Check out the "Pono in balanced mode" thread. That feature might especially appeal to you. minermark
Im keeping my eyes on Neil Young, anything he has had his fingers in has not worked out well in the end.
Cornman
Im keeping my eyes on Neil Young, anything he has had his fingers in has not worked out well in the end. Just recently read Neal's Bio, & I see your point, I always wonder about artist' s in general . Many seem to have some sharp edges or other extreme contradictions. Oh my how the man puts his money where his mind is & has a long history of fighting for better recording quality.
