oldtimer
There was a deal I wanted to jump on so bad in the past. It was two pairs of LaScalas for 800. I just didn't have the space for them at the time in that location. Sometimes it works for you sometimes it doesn't. Later a deal came for chorus II's for 200. Karsoncookie
If you can get over not having the "Raw Birch" veneer appearance, you can paint these easily and economically in a myriad of colors/textures. I'd grab em if the drivers were good. Lars

J M O N
Shouldnt those have the laser badges or did Klipsch use both types at that time? Mark 79 was the 1st year for the new copper badge laser 76-78 1978 was a transition year for the badges -- some had the "laser" badges others had the "classic copper' badges. If they are in good working condition, I wouldn't hesitate to use these in my garage. Might still try to get the price down by a few bucks though. I wonder if they were used in a club, where people get on top of them and dance on them (or a Frat house) -- in which case make sure they are in good working order.
