Scrappydue
So as sad as it makes me i have been talking with the wife about finances, and her military GI bill does not cover her summer classes she is taking. so i will be paying 100% of the bills over the next 3-4 months. while i have enough to cover it i would be flat broke so i am letting go my recently acquired home theater. it will keep me stress free if i just get rid of it. i really can live with a less capable home theater in my living room (just don't like to).so here it is.the 5 speaker setup will include:1 pair of merlot P-37F towersnext up would be the merlot P-27C centerand finally the merlot P-27S surroundsand a pic of them togetherThis setup is the REAL DEAL people. i was very skeptical before i ever heard them because of what i was told by others. however after taking a leap of faith, these are THE ONLY speakers that when i come up from my cinema equipment, i am equally as excited to listen to these. take looks out of the equation and there are by far the best sounding klipsch i have had in my living room. the standout speaker for me is the center channel. I'm sure its well known that i am not fond of the rc-64 because after hearing a superior center i just never could get over its asking price for how I FELT it sounded compared to its matching towers. with that being said, the palladium is far superior in my opinion. the clarity on it is just unreal compared to any other klipsch center i have heard.this setup is fantastic in every aspect in my eyes. you get fantastic sound and pieces of art. if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.the towers retail for 8,000$the center retails for 3,500$the surrounds go for 4,000$grand total for the package is 15,500$i am asking 6,250$ for the setup. i have all the packaging material for these speakers as i bought them all brand new.there is a very slight bit of "damage" to one tower and one surround. the tower has about a 1/8" by 1/8" spot that is just discolored a tad from the merlot stain. and one surround has what looks like a small finger nail imprint in the bottom wood cap. i can get pics for any serious parties.i have no problem shipping these but all expenses are on buyer and INSURANCE IS A MUST! i would be heartbroken if they got destroyed.location is kansas city area and i am willing to drive a few hours if asking price is met.EDIT: 7,000$ GETS YOUR FREE SHIPPING TO ANYWHERE IN THE 48! LOCAL WOULD BE MINUS SHIPPING QUOTE AND I WILL ALSO THROW IN MY ONKYO 805. ITS A BEAST Edited August 29, 2015 by Scrappydue

Coytee
Don't you have a son who planks that could be rented out to parties or the circus from time to time?

This coming from a Big Dog Owner. ill have one again. problem is with selling the palladiums i break even or lose a bit, the bike i would lose a TON. the trade in on my sportster made me sick to my stomach for only being 9 months old. if i had known about these bills and stuff sooner i probably would have not traded in the sportster until after she was done with school. Don't you have a son who planks that could be rented out to parties or the circus from time to time? yes but people never wanna pay much for him.

RagingBullWinkle
Just a thought, at what level does the VA cover your wife's health care if she went to the VA?Would dropping her health care coverage cover school cost? It would be a real shame to send those beauties down the road.
DEP14
Nice set-up. I would agree that the center channel is the star in the palladium line-up. I sold off my P37's and P27 a while back and miss that center in particular. I'm slightly tempted…but have to hold off. Question - is that the palladium sub I see in the corner? Man I wish I could, especially the center, that's exactly what I need. I am currently shopping for my daughter's first car, there always seems to be something in the way of me building a proper HT. So are you willing to separate your system?

Guest Steven1963
Ahh....man. Having the sub is nice. And I'm not getting any bites on CL for it, which is just fine with me as I would just as soon keep it. I just never thought I'd be able to add to it, which is primarily why I was willing to let it go. Having the complete ensemble would be the pinnacle of...everything? I have the cash.... Stay tuned... CHASLS2
I sure would love to try the fronts out. The mood has hit me to try something new. Never anything worth while shows up local that much in my area.
