Whats happening with Youtube Embedding?

Recommended Posts

Not sure about any changes, but every forum, blog, OS, that I participate with handles embedding in different ways. I use a universal link that works pretty much anywhere (including here).

I keep a full generic "code" saved on a sticky, then just copy & paste a portion of the desired youtube share code to the link. That's what I use here, works every time, hope that helps.

Yes, mine embedded automatically...actually always preferred hyperlink really. Music, at least for me, sounds better on the youtube site itself. Seems not auto-embedding here now. Probably uses less server space, or whatever.

Did I say that...

All you need to do is paste the "sharing url" from youtube to your post and it'll auto-embed. It may not have worked over the past week because I was experimenting with some settings trying to figure out the "link parsing" error that happens sometimes. Anyway, for reference, it's the 2nd thing listed here: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/146184-forum-faq/
