jmcox00
I am offering for sale my Justin Weber crafted Bigger Ben SE amp. I purchased this from Justin less than a year ago (Sept I believe) and have kept it in mint condition. I believe this may have been his first production unit, and he described the unit to me as taking the Big Ben model and substituting some beefier transformers (it is heavy!) and adding tube rectification. Only selling due to the fact that I picked up a set of Justin's Casablanca mono blocks and am running those now. Photos taken are of my actual amp. At $1275 plus shipping it will include a nice set of tubes (and as shown in the photos . .love the look of the Mullard rectifier!): Mullard GZ-33 rectifier (purchased as NOS from Tube World) Tung Sol 6SL7WGT/6188 (purchased as NOS from Tube Depot) JJ matched 6550 I also have a matched pair of three hole Grey Plate Tung Sol 6550's purchased NOS from Brent Jesse that work beautifully with this amp for $200/pr Its a sweet playing amp . . .

jmcox00
In response to an inquiry I believe Justin said that this unit (with the bigger transformers) puts out around 8 to 10 wpc. Of course, that depends on your choice of power tubes.

jmcox00
Kind of surprised I haven't sold this great amp - Justin does beautifully crafted gear. I'm including below his writeup on this amp off his website (actually some of the photos are of this specific unit, taken by me at home and sent up to Justin after purchase). Certainly open to discussion (!!!). http://ampsandsound.com/products/amps/bigger-ben/
