I need to use USB for the reclocker  The picture below is how I have mine setup .

I feed my NAS/SSD into a dedicated router with cat 6a then out of the router with cat 6a to my server , from the server to the DAC I use AES/EBU

The USB/Filter is only used for the reclocker

My head hurts after reading all that technical data about USB.

Now that you have a Regen amber coming (see I was paying attention) don't you also have to get that $995 Uptone JS-2 Linear Power Supply as well to maximize your investment in the upgraded sound?

How about not using USB audio in the first place? :emotion-55:

I'm not trying to be flippant either. There's at least a dozen other (superior) ways to patch a computer's master audio stream to a DAC than attempting to, in real-time, across its peripheral bus.

I need to pick your brain then Tom.  I hope you're a patient man ;) .  I'll take it to PM as to not muck up this thread when I'm ready.

I LOVE the Regen!  I've only been using it for a couple of hours now but I'm very happy so far.

I've spent way more for way less improvement before.  This is a good deal and I really didn't expect for it to do much for my DAC (bel canto 3.5 upgraded to 3.7 and ref link).

You might want to try one of these before you get a new USB DAC.
