There's at least a dozen other (superior) ways to patch a computer's master audio stream to a DAC than attempting to, in real-time, across its peripheral bus. Now that you have a Regen amber coming (see I was paying attention) don't you also have to get that $995 Uptone JS-2 Linear Power Supply as well to maximize your investment in the upgraded sound? muel Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 I LOVE the Regen! I've only been using it for a couple of hours now but I'm very happy so far. I've spent way more for way less improvement before. This is a good deal and I really didn't expect for it to do much for my DAC (bel canto 3.5 upgraded to 3.7 and ref link).
