minermark
Great price, may take a wile, speaker sales seem to be a little slow this month.
nbndtrain
Thanks everyone. Just for awareness, I purchased these speakers from a forum member here in 2011, before the site migration. He was the second owner, and we both have only used McIntosh equipment to drive them. Hopefully I too can pass them on to someone else here.

Gorm
Are those the original badges? If so, war the lasers?
nbndtrain
Original as far as I know. Maybe these were early recipients of the newer badges?
Max2
I say don't sell them. Just out of curiosity, what is replacing them?
nbndtrain
Still available. Due to furniture arrangement, the corner horns no longer make sense. I will be replacing them with a set of Boston Acoustics A400.
Schu
Any chance you are coming to las vegas anytime soon?
J M O N
These were made in 1978. The change from laser logo to the newer version occurred during the 1978 production year, so some 1978 models will have the laser logos and others will have the newer version. ricktate
The new owner might want to check for air leaks in the woofer chamber. My 74s had a air leak in both was pretty easy to fix. I rigged up a way to test any Klipschorn for air leaks if anyone needs details. Rick

ricktate
Well..... I made another woofer door actually made 2 one of wood and one of Plexiglas .Then I made another wood piece to seal where the woofer actually goes... sealed and put that in where the woofer went. Then I drilled a small hole in the woofer door I made and with my air hose with a rubber tip nozzle. I pressurized the air chamber with low pressure. I could hear air escaping and could feel it on the outside on the sloping air chamber joint boards. About the only way to seal that area up was to pour some glue inside into that area and tilt the bass bin both top and bottom had leaks. It took about 3 days to get all the leaks sealed up. Some of the glue even leaked out a bit on the outside. But I know mine do not leak at all now. I was not surprised of the leaks after all they were 1974 models and who knows what they had been through. Granted they weren't real big leaks but I was in middle of restoring them so might as well do it right. That was 2005 I have pictures on forum of the project. The Plexiglas one was made so I could see how much the woofer actually moved when playing. Note it moves so little its very hard to see,,,lol .
