Yah, yah, I know...Almost all of you have seen most of this already, but we officially posted the product pages, specs, photography and an introductory video.

We genuinely believe Dolby Atmos is the biggest advancement in home cinema since surround sound. It's something you really need to experience to understand (although we try to explain it in our blog haha). It's probably the craziest/most awesome demo I have had in the 3+ years I have worked at Klipsch.

The RP-280FA is a version of the RP-280F floorstanding speaker with Dolby Atmos built-in via an elevation channel. It comes in black and real walnut wood veneers. The RP-450CA is the matching center channel for this system that comes with those same veneer options.

The RP-140SA is actually pretty cool because you can add it to whatever speakers you currently have if you are looking to implement Atmos that way. I actually just picked up a pair during an employee auction for my home theater (RP-260F, RP-450C, RP-250S, R-112SW).

Of course, we still make in-ceiling speakers that deliver the Atmos spec.

I get that some people are skeptical and that's fair...but, as we always say here, just have a listen.

The speakers look great Alex.

That's a pretty huge statement.

I would definitely like to hear an Atmos setup.  I've been the skeptical guy but have not heard it myself so there is no basis behind my skepticism.

One question I do have is since the distance from the speaker to the listener is twice the distance of the front speaker, does Audyssey have to turn the Atmos speakers up pretty loud to compensate?

Based on your convictions, I'm assuming that if you were to turn off the Atmos speakers during a demo, there would a significant difference in the sound?

Who knows...Atmos may usher in a whole new way of experiencing Home Theater.

I am inclined to believe them. I have heard of people's impressions who have experienced a proper acoustically treated Atmos theater or home theater, and they say it's pretty much the best thing ever in home and commercial cinema audio. :D

Well one is the atmos and two would be the fact they are real wood veneer not vinyl wrapped like lower Rp models.

okay but there's a real difference of sound ?

because buy the rp-280fa cost me 500€ more than buy the rp-280f+rp-140sa so i want understand ...

For one thing, the rp280fa's atmos enabled woofer is larger than the rp-140sa. I think the 280 has a 5.25" and the 140 has a 4" woofer. I have four rp-140sa atmos enabled speakers, and I love them. However, I wish klipsch made it with a 5.25"woofer option.

The 280 has. 6.5" driver. And I can only imagine how much a fuller sound it has than the tiny 140. Is it worth the extra money? Well I'd say it all depends on what money means to you. To some it ain't much. To others that's a week pay check per speaker.

if i didn't have money i wouldn't buy a Premiere system... however now im understanding that has a bigger atmos woofer so i'll go with the RP-280FA for sure...
