He has dropped his price as you said, if they are 1s, the price will continue to drop maybe as low as $600. If they are 2s maybe they can be had for $700 if you can be patient. I already have a Chorus II pair and am not interested in a pair of I's. If someone out there wants these, I can store them in our basement until you can make the road trip.
