holtrp Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 I have been on the wagon for a solid 18 months now (wagon being, for the most part content with both my 2 ch and HT set up and not spending any money on more gear) The last thing I got was a Audio Technica LP120 (entry level TT) to replace my failing Thorens MK126III that needs a new motor. I am starting to itch for some upgrades tho... help me figure out what to work on over the winter. - Marantz 8801 to replace my aging Denon 3808? Always wanted a completely separate processor. 11 channels might be cool and it is half way affordable now, though it would probably lead to more amps / speakers too. - Khorn upgrades. Need new veneer. Any thoughts on Volti Audio upgrades? - Amps - Still thinking about a separate for the living room. Tube or a high end SS? I am this close to pulling the trigger on a decent tube... then I always remember, I listen to too much rock music and back away. - 4 Marty subs to accompany my 4 sealed?
