Supercrewcab
I recently acquired the working parts of a damaged RW-10. I have the plate amp and woofer. The woofer has a small white sticker on the magnet with (K-113) is this speaker model number? I have been searching for the thiele-small parameters for the woofer but I have not been able to find anything. I was wanting to know if it is recommended to construct a custom enclosure for this woofer and using the original factory amp? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. CECAA850
Are you sure the factory plate amp still works? If so you don't need the T/S numbers. Just make a clone box of the original enclosure as they've already run the numbers for you when they designed it.
Supercrewcab
Yeah the plate works. I know that they designed a great product, but I am not limited to keeping a certain profit margin, keeping the cost down or mass producing powered subwoofer enclosures. I was wanting to build a box from superior materials and workmanship. Also I was wanting to construct a bandpass or 4th/6th order enclousure. I need a challenging hobby for this upcoming winter.
