harmony08
Thank you for those who were involved with my quest. I've learned a great deal about Klipsch speakers in this garage forum. I've also gotten to know a bit more about some of you After over five months of searching and bugging some of you guys with questions, I'm now the owner of the Chorus 2's found on CL. I just passed up on some Forte 2's in great shape for $500.00 I have to stop somewhere. Seriously, I have to stop. This stuff can be addictive! What? Upgrade the crossover...oh, and go for the titanium tweeters.... If I keep going, I won't be able to afford more duct tape for this old la z boy.... and I will be sleeping in the garage with the dog...and I don't think she will let me take the speakers out there! You guys are awesome. Thanks again! Harmony08
opusk2k9
I have to stop somewhere. Seriously, I have to stop. Just drink the kool aid, it is a fun ride. I caught the bug 3.5 years ago and despite many visits to audio anonymous, I just can't stop myself. Congratulations on the Chorus II, they are an awesome speaker. If you are space confined, the Forte I/II are an excellent choice (spec'd to 32 Hz too). Luckily, I have been able to buy/sell/upgrade enough to sustain my addiction. It helps that my wife isn't very observant and doesn't go to the basement often. However, recently she said "I went to the basement and there seems to be MORE than I remember." Luckily, I responded "Yes" and she didn't pursue the issue.

swapface
Yes indeed, a great journey. I would never recommend speakers over relationships but just in case you had better get that garage equipped. I have 4 Klipsch in the garage just in case...LOL

harmony08
It really did happen! These speakers are so big, sadly, I can't back up far enough in the room to get a good picture
Moderators Youthman Posted August 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2015 Take 3 photos of your room (Left, Middle & Right). I'll send you a PM with my email address. Send me the 3 photos and I'll composite them together into one image.
minermark
Congrats, you just cruise that CL once in a wile, you will be amazed how easy it is for your "Next" upgrade. Remember, Scalas are just a tad bigger than those you have now.......
Moderators Youthman Posted August 6, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 6, 2015 Congrats, you just cruise that CL once in a wile, you will be amazed how easy it is for your "Next" upgrade. Agreed....but to get the great deals, you have to cruise craigslist more than just once in awhile. Amazing deals typically only last a few hours at most.
harmony08
Minermark, My wife started laughing hysterically when I mentioned bigger speakers. I've know the measurements of the dog house. The Scalas definitely will not fit. I am out of here!
