mkane Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 I have a pair of AP12-600 crossovers. I can't decipher the instruction's so I'm looking for some here here. Do I also need a pair of es style networks to go with these or can I run just the AP12's strapped. These are for Cornwalls. If running strapped, how do I wire the things. prerich Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 You will need the AP15-6000 in addition to the AP12-600 (woofer crossover) to complete this set up (If I'm not mistaken IINM). The AP15-6000 completes this crossover (Mid - Tweeter section). I have ALK B version 2 crossovers in my Cornwalls. Al stopped making these because it was too much crossover and too difficult to make compared to the cost of the speaker. If you are using Cornwalls - you may want to go to the Cornscala-wall economy universal option - which is an "all in one" crossover. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
prerich Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Just checked - the price for a pair of AP15-6000T's is $380 while the price of a pair of Cornscala-wall's is $320. Yours are gentle slope crossovers. You could either sell your AP12-600's and buy Cornscala-wall's or you can just buy a pair of AP-6000T's. You may make part of the money by selling the 600's and getting the Cornscala-Walls which are more direct in their installation process.
