jimjimbo
SOLD! Thank you Billy, see you tomorrow in Indy!! Very nice pair of 1983 Oak Belles. Consecutive serial numbers. K77 square magnet tweeters, K55V solder lug mids. AA crossovers updated with Sonicaps. Beautiful grills, and most of the cabinetry is superb. Tops do have some water stains on them (not my fault, I swear...), however, they look worse in the photos than they do in person. The cabinets were rubbed down with Howards Restor A Finish, Golden Oak. Really don't want to ship, but, if you want them, it's all on you.... They sound terrific, and I would keep them if I didn't already have so many other pairs of speakers.... . These will go on CL this weekend. Please PM me with any questions. You are more than welcome to come and visit to audition. My daughter is getting ready to launch her 4th newborn, so my schedule might be a little....wacky.... Oh yea, forgot to add, I will throw in a Mickey Mouse bike or Anna and Elsa Frozen bike with purchase..... jimjimbo
Thanks very much. A couple of smoked glass tops, and they will be stunning. Once again, Mickey or Anna and Elsa, your choice!!

jimjimbo
Thanks Ceptorman for your comments and kind wishes. This is one of the nicer pairs of (oak) Belles that I've had.

GLWS (good luck to your daughter also) +1 I have to agree with all of that! Yes, glass tops would look really nice on these. I put them on my oiled oak Quartets and I really like them. My place is too small for the larger heritage speakers but I envy you guys that get to own and enjoy speakers like these. Schu
those are amazingly nice... one question, how do you keep your black fabric so nice looking? I mean you must treat them somehow dont you? Mine always get dust and junk mix in them.

jimjimbo
Hey Schu, you stoked an idea for me, (thank you) and wondering if anyone else has tried or is using 3M Scotchgard fabric and upholstery protector on their speaker grills? Any downsides to that?
Gorm
You don't happen to have a pair of Oak K-Horns that you'll be selling do you? Looking a nice pair of Oak Heritage...but trying to hold out for K-Horns.
jimjimbo
If I had any Khorns, and the corners to support them, they wouldn't be for sale....sorry. And let me say something....I have played the Belles and the Chorus II's together (at the same time off a Pioneer SX-1250), and the combination was bada$$ killer. Say what you will about differing sensitivities, heights, depths, horns, etc, etc, etc...those two pair together were smokin', absolutely smokin'....

gary p
I'm running belles and chorus 2s together and you're right. Awesome. You're belles are very nice. Looking for a third, but wouldn't break up a nice set like those. You're within striking distance too. Good luck. Shouldn't have any problem. jimjimbo
If you could find someone that is passing within a reasonable distance to my home, and is on their way to your area, I'd be happy to send them!!
