Cal Blacksmith
I just noticed that I have a line in my info to the left, I have 0 warnings!!!! Does this mean that EVYERYONE else has at least one warning or am I special in some way? LOL! Also, not that it matters much but I used to be allowed into the private forum for more... loaded topics. Now, I am 1500 posts short of the requirement! OH well, I guess I have a while to go before I can qualify to get ulcers over others posts to hot button topics. LOL!
The History Kid
Only you can see your own warnings. And members of staff. It means as of right now, you've pretty much obeyed the rules. Be good.

I can't imagine having access and not commenting. That said, I contend posting will help alleviate the pain.

Moderators dtel Posted August 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2015 I gave it to her and never said anything, about a month later I asked if she knew I did that, she said "I know" I don't think she really cared. It kind of surprised me she didn't say more ? I was going to give one to another moderator but someone beat me to it so I gave it to my wife.

I don’t know what’s worse, you moderators not taking the warning points seriously or you admitting that your bride wasn’t your first thought. Well, when she reads what you wrote tell her that it’s because she’s so great that you could never think of giving her a warning point first.

I think most of the moderators just didn't want to give anyone warning points, they would just lock threads. I told them give points, it's like you need a bunch of them to even get your hand slapped it's not a big deal to have one it's just a warning. Moderators dtel Posted August 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) I'm here for general , I do learn about audio stuff, but I rarely change anything and I do not need anymore speakers. So I am here just...... ........I don't know why I am here really ? Must be the people, OH I forgot going to Arkansas is fun also, especially to Rodneys, he calls us "Klipsch people". It's my kind of place, you would have to really screw up bad to get thrown out and you can do almost anything without anyone even looking twice, plus it's an everyday party, plus now he has a cool setup for music. He is very fond of "klipsch people", any or all of us is welcome anytime, he loves having people over. He is really excited about the Klipsch group coming back in the spring, as many as we can get was his words. Just came back from 10 days there a few weeks ago and going back again in a couple of weeks. Edited August 5, 2015 by dtel
Moderators dtel's wife Posted August 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2015 I gave it to her and never said anything, about a month later I asked if she knew I did that, she said "I know" I don't think she really cared. Well, when she reads what you wrote tell her that it’s because she’s so great that you could never think of giving her a warning point first. BigStewMan, Mods (well most of us) take warning points very seriously. As of late, the rule of thumb is, "if we have to lock a thread, warning points will likely be issued". Generally, two or ore mods will agree before a thread is locked and points are issued (unless circumstances warrant or another mod is not available), that's how seriously we take it. In dtel's case, he likes to mess with me and he didn't know how to issue warning points, so he thought he would give it "his best shot"! A member must obtain ten or more warning points to reach a temporary suspension, if my memory serves me correctly.
