I truly hope that the issue is minor or at least easily fixable.  My significant other went though ICU for five days about 15 years ago, and it wasn't any fun but it was life changing and for the better.

Dee: If the docs recommend stints, I'd recommend watching this documentary on Netflix--called "The Widowmaker" (a poor title for a very, very good documentary).

In the state of Texas, if you are over 45 and have health insurance, calcium screenings are reimbursable by insurance (...apparently the only state in the union to date where this is true).

All you guys and gals with heart disease in your family's history should watch this documentary, IMHO--it's more than worth the time.

Assuming you've got Netflix Streaming:

Good news everyone! I have just come from visiting Dee in the hospital. He is doing much better. The doctor wants to treat his condition with drugs... no invasive procedures at this time. Also, he was about to be moved from CCU to a regular room. I'll be visiting him again tomorrow and will keep everyone updated. Keep those prayers going.
