jimjimbo
Currently have RB 25s flanking TV and RC 35 center that I bought years ago in the living room where the wife takes up residence. Replacements need to be about the same size. Not interested in full HT. Suggestions welcomed!
BusaDude
Three Heresy's along the front, if you can accommodate a Heresy at the center position, would be a great upgrade... And with a little searching, fairly easy to do within that budget. If not, the RB-61II's (though recently discontinued) would be a logical upgrade and you could keep your existing center channel. jimjimbo
I would love to do Heresy's, but they are way too big for where I need to fit them. The RB-25's barely fit beside the TV, so as stated, need to get something about the same size, maybe a smidge larger. Tall is not an issue, depth and width are......AND, they need to have WAF, for sure.....forgot about that in the first post.....
willland
Maybe look for a pair of the Icon WB-14's and the matching WC-24 center channel. Probably hard to find but from what I hear, they sound very nice and are very WAF. Bill Edited August 26, 2015 by willland

K5SS
How about the new Premier series? I am planning on buying the RP-450c (if it fits) and RP-160M for my front 3. The MSRP is $1,250 but with a little shopping around, you might be able to snag them for around $750. Otherwise, I would keep an eye out for some used RB-5's and a RC-7. jimjimbo
Why are you replacing Jim? Well, I really don't need to, and perhaps I should rethink, because although I would "like" better quality speakers and SQ, she really doesn't care. I'm going to do more research and decide soon. Just thought I'd reach out to the forum for some suggestions.

I like the RB-61 II. Good bass for its small size. They're an inch wider and about 2.5 inches deeper than the RB-25.
