Infinity center channel question

Is anyone familiar w/ Infinity center channels?  Enough to venture a guess as to which center channel the image below is? Specifically, I am wondering about its size and its audio quality for an intended use:  as a center channel in a bedroom, where it is to replace TV speakers, and be the ONLY speaker for both the TV and non-critical music listening.  The height of the desired center is important because the higher it is, likely indicates larger woofers, and they are more likely to get down to the 50 Hz or below level that I would like, because it will be the only speaker.  However, height also gets in the way of viewing the entire screen, too, so it is a balancing act.

 Thank you for any help!

Anyway, the only available info on the center channel, outside of the 2 photos, is the owner's statement:  "It's black, 18" tall & 7" wide. "

Youthman, does the "white part" around the spring clips look a little different to you in the photo I posted, and the back of the Video 1?

It kind of looks to me like a little more than purely the angle/perspective in the photo shot. . . .

Youth and Tea, I tend to agree with you, as I looked at the photos, and compared dimensions.

To answer your question, I think I am looking for "something".  Have a number of considerations, one of which is my wife's preference for simplicity of operation.  Already must use 2 remotes--the Yamaha for the AVR, and the Charter one to change channels.  So that is part of my thinking in looking at a center channel, rather than either of 2 soundbars I have (and yet another remote).

I notice that the frequency range of the Video 1 goes down to about 59Hz, and the woofers are 5 1/4".  Sufficient for non-critical, but still fairly demanding listening?

Previously had a L/C/R, but made the mistake of taking the L/R out "temporarily", and guess who filled the void with her preferred stuff!

You can probably pick up a Harmony remote and keep what you have. They program easily and control about everything.

I would advise you from experience that the Infinity center you are eluding to is not one of their finer moments. If you are looking at a center channel go for a Klipsch as the voices are much clearer. I have so many spare center channels around my place...a KMC-1, KV-1, KV-2 and like four extra KV-3 centers and they are all better than the Infinity. Let me know if you need one.

I believe Teaman is correct, the Video 1 was the lower tier for the Infinity Centers.  The Kappa and Overture were higher end models.

The KV-3 was my first Klipsch center and it was very nice.  It might be something you want to consider.

While I'm not familiar with that particular Infinity I suggest you will want to take a look at the cone/driver surrounds/suspension before you buy. Many of the older Infinity speakers used foam surrounds that deteriorated with age. You might end spending more $ to have them re-coned than what it's worth.

I totally agree with artto. I own Infinity SM 150's and 152's and the reconing would cost me as much as it would to get replacement speakers. The foam surrounds are great for suspension and movement for bass but they dry rot and it really sucks to refoam them...

Thanks for the good ideas!  The problem with most centers of "sufficient" size, meaning woofers large enough to get down to approx. 50Hz cause the cabinet to be a little too large to fit in the space available.  It is likely that the only Klipsch that would fit is the KV-1, and its low end is not nearly as low as what I am looking for.
