Fleawatt
I can't imagine I'm the only one cringing right now when reading this ad? Sharing copyrighted music with friends and back ups for personal use is one thing, but selling copies of originals on a public forum, for personal gain? (a spindle of 500 CD's is about $100) Maybe I'm being too compassionate towards those people who make their living writing, recording, marketing and selling their art form? Joe please clarify your listing. My impression is that you're selling original CD's, minus the jewel cases or artwork and NOT copies of originals. Obviously, there's some ambiguity. Cal Blacksmith
That is my understanding too, original discs, not copies. At least that is how I understood the listing.
RockOn4Klipsch
As with others my understanding is they are originals, lacking art work and jewel cases. If the scenario is the other way this would be an inappropriate listing.

Fleawatt
clarification complete, cant believe someone could construe this as selling copies (slaps head) Not sure where you get the idea I am selling copies, I said they are in good enough shape to rip if you desire Your original ad did not mention they were original cd's. It lists, CD's with "no artwork and no jewel cases." "CD artwork" is typically referring to the artwork on the CD disc itself. After your clarification, I see now you probably meant no insert or booklet, as they are commonly referred to. Selling CD's with no artwork, no jewel cases and in 3 ring binder sleeves (likely no inserts either?) lead me to believe they are blank CD-R's as I'm not aware of many commercially sold CD's with "no artwork". There was obviously need for clarification as the moderator asked you to clarify, which you then did. Glad you clarified and glad you got them sold quick. My apologies for offending you. joessportster
You can interpret it any way you like it is still out of bounds to make an assertion that someone is breaking the law without the FACTS how do we get FACTS we contact the individual Its a simple concept, you dont assume the worst and then comment on that assumption And furthermore you are the first and ONLY person I have met or heard of that ASSUMES no artwork means anything other than no booklet/insert, I know of no person that considers the disc itself as the ARTWORK, Dont believe me check all the sales on ebay and other sites where they routinely advertise the discs with NO ARTWORK also you are the only one of 4 that thought it meant copies, which does not include the buyer who also understood they were originals You are correct I did edit the original post, had to be sure you understood it was original discs All this is moot of course because the discs are sold.....................Have a good one Joe Edited September 3, 2015 by joessportster

psg
Still... your sig reads "Laptop running J-River" so one might also assume that you have all these CDs ripped to FLAC already. Presumably you will be deleting them when you have sold the rights to those copies.
JL Sargent
Wait a minute psg. What about those old free Napster downloads from 20 years ago. Should I go ahead and erase those now? Heck, I was guilty of recording songs off the radio straight to cassette.

BigStewMan
i was at 7-11 and took a slug of the soda and then topped it off again before I paid for it. I did give them $2 instead of the $1.59 price. Glad you’re wearing the flack jacket Joe…i didn’t think you were up to anything nefarious…and that’s odd for me--maybe there is still hope for me after all?
