Klipsch risers

looks like you will be able to replicate the factory rises. I would ask you why though? If you want simply to make them as close to stock I understand that goal. If you want to obtain all the performance these speakers are capable of and to improve the looks then a four post stand is the way to go and also remove the old risers and your rig will look much cleaner for it. Stands in the 14 - 16 inch high range will in most cases get the speaker up to where it will perform best. You want to raise the speaker so that the centre of the mid horn is at your seated ear level which is usually around 39 - 41 inches up off the floor.

I have included a photo of a very similar sized cabinet (Harbeth M40 with 12" woofer) so you can get a better idea of the visual aesthetic that I am talking about. I placed my set of Forte ll up on these same stands when I gave them to my son, they sound excellent.

Fair enough what ever works your you in terms of aesthetics is your call. The addition of the plate that Matthews used in his risers is a very good idea for any keeping the stock riser and it will result is a more secure and rigid base for the loudspeaker to stand upon, a good plan and worth the effort well recommended. Thanks to Matthews for posting his photos of his riser modification. Best regards Moray James.
