Jim
Figured I'd start a little early this year. This is about half done. We do the yard up every year, then after kids are done trick or treating, we give out candy and scare the kids and parents ourselves. We were all zombies the last 2 years so we fit right in with the decorations. I'm trying to finish a handmade old 1800's style pine casket so I can lay in it this year.
K5SS
It is pretty early but that looks awesome! Looks like poor Spider Man went on a date that ended poorly.. Edited September 19, 2015 by K5SS

Jim
Steve, I dress up every year with my kids and even before they were born. I stopped when I was 12, then started again when I was 19, and have been doing it every year since. I've been in the Halloween Parade in New York and on a float with the Squirrel Nut Zippers. I've enjoyed it and we used to have very large parties before I got married and started having kids. Here's a few of the older stuff.

Moderators Travis In Austin Posted September 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 19, 2015 (edited) Used to love the houses like yours when I was a kid. They made a haunted mansion every year, it was quite something, at least for an 8 year old. Edited September 20, 2015 by dwilawyer
Jim
Cool pics Jim, especially the Village People one. We actually sang 2 songs on stage karaoke when we dressed up that year.

They made a haunted mansion every year, ut was quite something, at least for an 8 year old. There is a town about 25 minutes from me here in NJ that has a 6 block area that does all their homes up every year. It's closed off for about 2 weeks after 6 PM in the evening so people can come and look at their homes, haunted houses, and zombie walks. The police get involved with making sure everyone behaves. The people doing it have been doing it for about 30-35 years and it started out as 1 house. JL Sargent
Jim, that looks awesome. Need some kinda spook sitting on that closest window unit though. Scariest this in the yard is that baby crawling next to the walkway. Yikes!!!
Jim
So here's the updated stuff so far, about 80% done. I have a fake tree coming that will have several more hangiong zombies from limbs, and fencing.

JL Sargent
My 11 year old son says those conjoined twins are the scariest! I have to agree.
The History Kid
The extent of Halloween décor at our house is low due to the fact...I'd much rather invest the time in cleaning (this was why one of my former bosses used to say "I think you're part girl"). Anyway, I had a photoshoot tonight with a few demons and a pumpkin though...

DSC00338.JPGDSC00339.JPGDSC00340.JPG That's funny, because when I was younger people used to make fun of me when I threw parties, they said when you came to the door I gave everyone a roll of paper towels and Windex and said have fun.
Ceptorman
I usually hang a couple people from a tree. I also stuff my motorcycle racing leathers with towels and clothes.
