jvs1670
Anybody try these or know anything about them......... http://www.glow-audio.com/AmpOne.html
tube fanatic
I have never heard one of those. However, the picture of the under-chassis construction shows that it's fairly well made. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee (less shipping), so why not try one and draw your own conclusions? Jim Naseum
I have a Glow Model One, in white. Built like a miniature battleship. The sound is clear and clean, if a little soft. I feel like it is a fantastic bargain. You get a lot for your money. My analogy is that this is a lot like buying a bookshelf speaker. minermark
Welcome to the World of imported (China) Amps. Iv been running Imported Amps for well over 20+ years. Chinese do NOT design Amps, they copy what is known to be good quality, and popular seller, they play with design/looks howevr if one took the time to trace circuit(s), you would find Patents of the exact design. Primeamp is my guy on the Bay, looking at this slection of amps offered by this company, i would say look into Primeamp and get twice the Amp for half the money. Shipping is the real killer, but deals can be had with a good search.

I would use them with Khorns. Hi-- I'm using the Glow One as an alternate amp with my Chorus. It doesn't have enough power for my bookshelf speakers. When I say a little soft, I mean that the uppermost treble is down just a little bit and the high hat transients are just a tad less sharp than with my Topping D-class amp. It's really quite nice and very listenable. Nice detail.
