Here's a pair of RB-5's, RS-35's and an RC-7 on the bay, depending on final value it might be worth it: http://www.ebay.com/...=item3d039442f4

That $150 shipping is hard to swallow.

Thanks, the shipping cost too high.

And they are not RB-75's.  Big difference IMO, even though I like the RB-5's.

Yes, What do you think about RB-5s and RB-75?

I like the RB-5's and they sound great but the RB-75's are about as close as you can get to a tower speaker in a bookshelf speaker.  They have great presence, awesome tight punchy bass, and very detailed mids and highs.  They sound big.

The best price can i buy a pair of RB-75s? thanks.

The last three completed sales on Ebay are $461.00, $700.00, and $545.00.  All plus average of $60.00 in shipping.

I think you're dreaming at those prices for anything in half way decent shape. I paid $610 shipped for my black RB-75's that are near mint and I feel like I got a pretty good deal. You might find something in rough shape for less but it seems most people who sell these know exactly what they have and what they're worth. All that being said I really, really like my 75's. For their size I don't think there's anything out there that can beat them, at least nothing offered by Klipsch. The RB-5's are good but the 75's are closer tower speaker status.

The RC-7 on the other hand I have seen very nice ones sell for around $450 shipped and there seems to be a lot more of those available. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the 75's and the RC-7 are all pretty big and really heavy for their size. The 75's will be close to 40 lbs each packed and ready to ship and the RC-7 closer to 50 lbs. A seller would be wise to ship these three in separate boxes and it could easily run upwards of $100 to ship, not counting packing.

Most of the RB75's you'll find will be north of 500.00 and well worth it IMO. Location and how motivated a seller is will be a big factor. I got lucky with a local purchase for 375.00 (with stands) for a very good condition pair of black ones and I would not sell them for double what I paid!

At those prices it would be more cost effective to go Cornwall's and a Heresy center.

You're talking a HUGE difference in footprint regardless of cost. If the op has space for full-sized then yeah, lots of good options out there to consider. If you're limited to bookshelf sized speakers though (like I am currently) you simply cannot do better than the 75's in my opinion and they're well worth the extra money over the RB-5's, RB-35's or even the current model RB-81 II's, I've tried them all.

If you somehow end up with a deal on 3 RC 7's give that a try. Same tweeter as the RF 7 and flat out one hell of a great front 3. I have 3 myself and am currently experimenting with this configuration. Frankly I'm shocked at how good it is. It's in the living room right now but I keep getting not so subtle hints about when these things are going back out to the garage so it's soon to turn in to a pumpkin. Oh well at least the Belles can stay out here....
