Bubo
This HS Kid in W. Va has his own basement repair shop and cranks out the videos, lots of speaker repairs. This is a diaphragm replacement on the K-77, something I see a lot of people talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s90esnzJ22s
CECAA850
Simply speakers has a video on their web site as well. It's not that hard. Trickiest part for me was making sure the voice coil goes in the groove without damage.
Schu
shouldn't you replace the gasket also?
Bubo
shouldn't you replace the gasket also? I am probably overly neat so for me yes, new gasket. From a practical point of view, perhaps the glue is enough to fill the voids. This kid has apparently been doing speakers since he could crawl, his father is his teacher. So yes, his repairs all look easy..... Edited September 25, 2015 by Bubo

jimjimbo
Hopefully before anyone installs that nasty rope caulk, you are first putting on some blue painters tape......
